Welcome!

I am currently offering as-needed consultation for therapists who have integrative practices that include the mindfulness- based trauma therapies: Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Inner Relationship Focusing. For many years I served as an EMDR consultant and as a member of the training team for EMDR basic training. I was an Assistant Level Somatic Experiencing trainer and I am a certified IFS therapist. I teach courses on trauma related dissociation and the practice of psychotherapy with people who have dissociative experiences and Complex PTSD.

Early in my career I trained as a Family Therapist and a Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and I continue to practice through those lenses.

In the 1980’s and 90’s I worked for the Cult Clinic at The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. I have a new chapter on collaborative psychotherapy with former cult members in the 3rd Addition of Take Back Your Life: Recovering from Cults and Abusive Relationships, edited by Janja Lalich.
